(To keep the water from leaking out through the bullet holes) Perhaps, if we wanted to delve into making factions economically as well as militarily distinct, even buildings could benefit from being on water deposits, creating a dilemma of whether to put a resource building or something else on your precious water.ĮDIT: I thought about this for a few minutes and I don't really like the idea anymore. Units and abilities could be very heavy in water costs, or you could have a unit that can supercharge itself but only if it's standing on a water deposit. Chlorine, maybe? Easy to imagine some nefarious organization trying to gain a monopoly on the world's remaining water supply. The factions have similar units in that they have units that fill a particular role (basic infantry, ranged infantry, air unit, etc), but they have different stats and skills depending on the Faction. Not sure what their special resource would be. Hydropunk would be an interesting addition to an arid wasteland. They don't really look very steelpunk-y, at least going by the definitions I'm familiar with. Yeah I'm not sure why the Steelpunks aren't called Scrappunks or something, beyond maybe just that Steelpunk sounds cooler.
