And please pardon the errors of voice to text. If there's something I'm missing, let me know. This started last night and I didn't notice it at first. I usually ask my brother but he's out upgrading peoples machines to Windows 10, so I thought I would Google. I once had a tablet that was rooted but it came that way. But that's not relevant here it's just to point out what I do and do not know. I really have no idea what is the difference between CDMA and GSM or what a SIM card does. I updated just before Thanksgiving from an LG ultimate 2 because it was a CDMA and all the TracFone people told me they were shutting off 3-g and I needed a new phone. I would notice if that happened, wouldn't I? On my tablet it has to update every last app so it usually asks me first. I'm not aware of my operating system updating itself. I didn't used to but my new phone is bigger and hasn't squawked about "no space to install" yet. I have the play store set to update most of my apps if not all of them, automatically. And then I copied the wallpapers to a directory on my external MicroSD called wallpaper, where I keep my important stuff like wallpapers and ringtones and contacts.Īlso if I find a ringtone on Zedge I copy it to that subdirectory but I haven't done that in a couple of weeks. I've pretty much been using the same homescreen and lockscreen wallpapers, plural, for a couple of months Those are all the things that I can think of. Since last night I have had to reset my lock screen wallpaper four or five times and it's getting old. If it says Slideshow in the dropdown next to Personalize your background, click on it and select Picture or Solid color. Maybe I should shut it off? Pause it? Uninstall it? I have it on auto so it doesn't really kick in during the day. Here’s how you can stop that from happening: Right-click Start and select Settings in the Power Menu. ![]() But it's never caused this problem before. Last night I had to pause Twilight because something was too dark for me to read. I think I've been controlling my television from another device and I haven't seen the video on my phone in the past day) Sometimes my lock screen wallpaper will change to whatever YouTube is running on my television but that doesn't appear to be the case here. I'm not using a launcher whatever that is. ![]() This file is called desktoppicture.db, and it stores your Mac’s wallpaper configuration. I never checked off the box to make my lock screen wallpaper match my home screen wallpaper If none of the above fixes help you, the problem might be with your wallpaper’s database file. I have not changed the wallpaper myself in about a month I'm using Android 8 on a LG v20 which I've had since Thanksgiving Since last night my lock screen wallpaper has been automatically changing to my home screen wallpaper. For the insolent guards and cheating ticket-sellers who give you short change. Again, no virus's or rootkits/malware found with AV and other Malware software. This is my first question on an Android forum. Now I felt pretty well assured in my own mind, and kept my assurance to. The file create date for easter cat.jpg was just minutes before I noticed it changed my desktop.Īnyone know what the roamedthemefiles are and how these pictures are getting there? If i delete them, a new one will come up within weeks. It is obviously an image someone has unprofessionally taken.Ĭomputer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\WallpaperĬ:\users\\appdata\local\microsoft\windows\themes\roamedthemefiles\desktopbackground\easter cat.jpg Third time 2 weeks later and now its a picture of a Pandaloon Easter catsee image 1. It then changed about 3 weeks later to another image that was something that I never put on my computer. I then changed back the desktop and forgot about it. I also called McAfee support which took the file and analyzed it and found no issues as well as examining my laptop and found no issues. I immediately removed my PC and did several virus scans. ![]() Now, I removed that font theme, and found another way to install my custom fonts, and now my wallpaper stays. I then went into my VM on the same machine and found the desktop was change to the same image there. Apparently, the problem was caused by a MIUI Font Changer app, which installed my font using a theme which did not contain any wallpapers, and the Themes app automatically reverted to the Default themes wallpapers. Didn't think much about it until I noticed the same image at a client site and I just plugged into their network an hour before. Last month out of the blue my desktop wallpaper changed from the standard windows desktop to a picture of a baby yoda with a purple background. I have a Windows 10 machine with McAfee LiveSafe protecting the OS. Hello and thanks for your assistance in advance.
